Here’s what Radio Control sniffed out for the week of April 15th 2013
Action Bronson – Compliments 2 The Chef feat. Lauriana Mae
Another culinary masterpiece from the chef turn rapper Action Bronson, on another beat from Harry Fraud. Off his new mix tape New York Renaissance.
Ghostpoet – Meltdown
Continuing where he left off in chilled-out-lyrically-mumbled-electronic-soul, this one with female vocals courtesy of Woodpecker Wooliams, off the upcoming ‘Some Say I So I Say Light’.
Glass Vaults – Ancient Gates
With their debut album ‘Sojourn’ on the way, this is a taste of what they have in store for us, and its definitely something to look forward to.
James Blake – Take A Fall For Me feat. RZA
Probably the one track on the new album that sparked the most intruige when announced, and the result doesn’t disappoint.
Paddy Fred – You Belong feat. Alby Love
Soulful and deep beats from Wellington producer Paddy Fred, off the soon to be released EP titled ‘Laminate’
Queens Of The Stoneage – My God Is The Sun
Pretty much what you’d expect from Queens, and thats definitely not a bad thing, especially since we’ve waited 6 years for a new single!
TAI & Diplo – Booty Drop
What isn’t Diplo up to these days, this time teaming up with TAI to give your rave/party/radio station the dance music integrity it deserves. Free download too!
The National – Demons
Theres something about Matt Berninger’s Nick Cave-esque baritonal vocals that gives The National a timeless feel, this new track is off the upcoming ‘Trouble Will Find Me’.
Wet – U Da Best
The Brooklyn three piece ‘Wet’ give you a vocally led downbeat, almost R&B sounding track with this one. The more I listen the better it gets too! Look out for these guys.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. – Hiding
Mali Mali – All The Shy Will Congregate
The Shrugs – Cobham Bridge
